This iOS 7 Concept Makes iOS 6 Look Like Sh*t, Thoughts?
With Apple having announced the date earlier on today for WWDC 2013, we’re bracing ourselves for a marked rise in the number of Apple-related news, rumors and reports. With iOS 6 having failed, in the opinion of many, to bring any dramatic improvements on iOS 5, the concepts and ideas for iOS 7 have been arriving thick and fast. The one you’re about to see below, as well as having been presented in a very professional manner, is one of the best iOS 7 concepts yet, and features a radically redesigned interface including a new Notification Center, widget support, and lock screen toggles. Catch the full demonstration video after the break!
What I like about this particular concept, which comes courtesy of designer Rafael Justino, is that not only has the problem of widgets, or specifically, the lack thereof, been addressed, but the whole look has been altered to give a fresher, contemporary appearance.
My favorite aspect is the ease in which many elements can be customized. If you want to change the aesthetics of any part of the UI aside from the wallpaper in iOS, it’s a closed door at stock level, and anybody looking to theme must facilitate a trip to the dark side by means of a jailbreak. Here, though, elements can be changed with ease, and the ability to flit between black and white depending on your particular device color / wallpaper is a very nice touch.
Having seen the clip a couple of times, I really do wish this were a real iOS 7 showcasing video. It addresses many of the ecosystem’s shortcomings while also offering a visual refresh, and if Apple were to unveil something along these lines in June, I suspect many Apple fans would be pleased.
Will Apple go the whole hog with customization, toggles and widgets? Perhaps not; but with Jony Ive, Apple’s lead industrial designer, now having a greater say on how the software looks and behaves, we are likely to see quite a few key alterations when iOS 7 finally makes it out of obscurity.
With that WWDC announcement now done and dusted, it probably won’t be long before we see an iOS 7 beta, and although it mightn’t necessarily represent the final release, it will give us a strong indication as to the direction Apple is headed.

Google & Facebook launches URL shortner: goo.gl & fb.me
People share a lot of links online. This is particularly true as microblogging services such as Twitter have grown in popularity. If you’re not familiar with them, URL shorteners basically squeeze a long URL into fewer characters to make it easier to share with others. With character limits in tweets, status updates and other modes of short form publishing, a shorter URL leaves more room to say what’s on your mind — and that’s why people use them. They said on their blog announcement.
However, there is nothing to to be happy, since Google URL shortener is not a stand-alone service i.e., you can’t use it to shorten links directly. Currently, Google URL Shortener is only available from the Google Toolbar and FeedBurner.
With limited space for tweeting, the URL shortener business has boomed, currently Bit.ly was leading.
Side by side with Google’s URL shortner, Fb.me is also showing up in several tweets. However, it’s unclear how long fb.me has been in operation.
FaceBook Can Be hacked easily

A friend of mine was outraged and baffled at the same time when several of his Facebook friends called his attention to an indecent photo that was posted on his wall. What was so disgraceful about it was that it was my friend, himself, who supposedly posted it. As a result, he was blocked by some people and was reported to Facebook.
Of course it wasn’t really my friend who posted that photo and eventually he was able to clear his name with Facebook. Nevertheless, he felt very much concerned and violated.
What happened to my friend is the work of a “hacker”, who is someone who uses his computing skills to gain unauthorized access to information. In computing terminology, hacking, or also known as hijacking, is the act of intentionally accessing information without the owner’s permission. Hacking Facebook accounts results to the violation of people’s privacy.
With the popularity of Facebook, millions upon millions of people worldwide have a Facebook account. Most of them do not know that for hackers, hacking Facebook accounts is quite easy. For example, a hacker needs only a particular software, which he can use even on his android phone to get the usernames and passwords of Facebook users in a particular WiFi zone.
The software, known as a sniffer, has the capability to “sniff” information like the username and password of your Facebook account – as long as you are accessing it in the same network as he is, such as in the same WiFi network. The hacker then accesses your account and can do almost anything with it: get your profile info, send private messages to your friends, post on your wall, and even unfriend your friends!
Obviously, no one wants to experience this kind of intrusion. Here are some ways through which you can better protect yourself and your Facebook account from unauthorized access by other people:
Secure Browsing
When you log-in to your account, your username and password are sent to Facebook over the internet using a data transfer protocol known as HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol). In HTTP, usernames and the corresponding passwords are sent in plain text form (readily readable) and thus can easily be used in hacking Facebook accounts once the sniffer software catches/retrieves the transmitted data
A more secure way of transmitting data is through HTTPS (HyperText Transfer Protocol over Secure Socket Layer; don’t worry we will not get into a technical discussion of these terms). In HTTPS, there is an added security because the data that is sent over the internet is encrypted. In other words, the usernames and passwords are not in a readable form.
The default setting in Facebook is HTTP but there is a facility to change it to HTTPS: Go toAccount Settings > Security > Secure Browsing (enable).
Private Browsing
You may not be aware of this but every time you use a computer, your information is stored on that computer. This includes the sites that you visit, online games you play, files you downloaded and even your username and password.
Before you log-in to your Facebook account in a computer that is not your own, such as in an internet cafĂ©, it is advisable that you enable the “Private Browsing” option so that your information will not be saved in that computer (at least for that particular session).
In Mozilla Firefox, click on Tools > Start Private Browsing or press Ctrl+Shift+P.
In Windows Internet Explorer, click on Tools > InPrivateBrowsing or press Ctrl+Shift+P.
In Google Chrome, click on the wrench icon on the toolbar, select New Incognito Window or press Ctrl+Shift+N.
Once you exit your session, the information about that session is completely erased from the computer.
Monitoring Facebook Sessions
Upon logging-in to Facebook, you may have been asked to assign a “device name” to the computer you are using. This would help you monitor your Facebook sessions by identifying devices that you normally use. To see a list of these devices, go to Account Settings > Security > Recognized Devices.
You can also opt to be notified through email or text message if your account is accessed in a device that is not among your recognized devices. Just go to Account Settings > Security > Login Notifications (enable & select your preferred notification method/s)
To monitor your active sessions, go to Account Settings > Security > Active Sessions. From there you will be able to check if someone else is currently accessing your account or if you forgot to log out from another device. You can end a particular session by clicking end activity. This is known as a “remote log out”.
Password Security
An additional security to make hacking Facebook accounts much more difficult for hackers is to have a strong password. Ideally, it should have a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters. Of course, it should be something that you can remember.
As a safety precaution, you have to set up your password recovery service by entering a security question and a recovery email account. Also, treat your password as you do your other sensitive information such as credit card number, personal identification number and the likes. As much as possible, do not share or give out your password to others. If there is ever a need to do so, do not send it via Facebook private message or email.
Think Before You Click
As the online saying goes, everything on the net is just a click away. However, some of the nastiest things that can happen to you in the World Wide Web also begin with a click.
There is such a thing called “clickjacking”, in which clicking a link in a Facebook post may automatically install a software in your computer and/or post the same link on the walls of all your friends.
And so, it is wise to “think before you click”. Click on links only from reputable sources.
When you do encounter clickjacking in the form of a post on your wall, report/block the particular post.
Recovering Your Account
If ever your Facebook account gets hacked, you may still recover it by going tohttps://www.facebook.com/hacked/. Simply follow the steps in order to recover your hacked account.
You may also be interested in having a copy of all your Facebook activities. Go to Account Settings > General > Download a copy. It may take a while but this will download a copy to your hard drive of everything that you ever did in Facebook as far back as day one!
As the online world thrives, danger lurks in every corner. We should always be on the alert. Yes, hackers will continue to come up with new ways and develop new tools to carry out their activities. But in the same way, we can come up with new ways and develop new tools by which to thwart their plans. We only need to be a step ahead to prevent them from doing what they do, such as hacking Facebook accounts.
For hackers, it is just a game and we are almost always forced to play defense. But as they say in sports, it is good defense that win games.

Latest FaceBook Scam
One of the most popular social networking websites in the world is under security attack. Thousands of Facebook users worldwide have been affected by this new attack. This is not just a virus, nor is it just a worm, but the latest threat to hit Facebook is actually a combination of a virus, a worm, a spam attack and a phishing attack. A very large number of worried individuals have emailed me over the last few days about it. What is this security threat all about? Should you be worried? What should you do? What should you not do? Read on for the lowdown on this latest Facebook scam.
How does it spread?
You will receive a private message from one of your friends with the subject "Hello". In some variants, it could also be a simple Wall post on your profile. The message will contain a link to a fake Facebook page (a page that looks like the real deal, but is actually not) that tries to steal your facebook account username and password. The link that gets displayed will either be in the tinyurl format or have an .at extension or will be in other unusual forms. Once it gets your account information, the worm will spread by sending copies of itself to everybody on your friends list via a private message or wall post.
What does it do?
When unsuspecting victims click on the link in the private message or wall post, a fake facebook login page shows up on the screen. Users think that they might have been logged out, hence enter their username & password thinking that it will go to Facebook. But unfortunately, in reality the account information gets sent to the criminals. Some variations of the attack also infect users with the Koobface worm, install the Trojan.BHO and spread other malicious worms. Another variation doing the round tries to steal users credit card details by pretending to sell them Viagra and other typical "spam products".
What are the real dangers?
Your facebook account information can be stolen.
Your credit card details can be stolen.
Your computer could be infected with some low risk malware.
Your account will be used to spread the virus amongst all your friends.
What should you do to protect yourself?
- Do not panic.
- Use your common sense.
- Be more careful about clicking on links in private messages & wall posts even if they are sent to you by your friends.
- Real the browser URL carefully before entering your Facebook account information.
- Use updated browsers that have anti-phishing black lists. For example, you can use Internet Explorer 8.0, Firefox 3.0.10 and others.
- Do not use the same username and password for all your accounts.
- Follow the Facebook Security Page for the latest information news, updates & information on security issues on Facebook. You can visit this page at http://www.facebook.com/security.
- Use some updated Antivirus software.

Hack facebook password remortly
Hacking Facebook account is very easy and just requires not more than 10 minutes of work. Don't worry i will also tell you how to protect your facebook account or passwords from such hacks and hackers. But for this you must know how hackers hack your facebook account. So first i teach you how to hack facebook account remotely and then i will tell how to protect yourself from this.
So guys lets start hacking Facebook account or passwords....
Steps to hack Facebook account using Keylogger:1. Creating the Keylogger Server to hack Facebook passwords.2. Extracting the Icon from installer.3. Bind the keylogger server with any software setup.4. How to spread your keylogger or send it to your friends to hack their Facebook accounts or passwords.
Step 1. Creating the Keylogger Server1. Download the keylogger.Download
2. Extract the file, Now you will get two folders:a. First one contains Keylogger and Binderb. Second Contains resource hacker tool.( to extract the icons from installers).
3. Now open the Keylogger. It contains two files one for gmail email and other for password. For this create one test account on Gmail and enter it's details in this.
4. After entering email and password. Set the time interval usually set 3 mins i.e. after how much time you want to receive logs from the user.5. Now click on send verification mail. This mail is to test that your keylogger is working correctly or not.6. After you click this you will receive a confirmation mail on test account which will confirm that keylogger is working.7. Now click on generate to set the mutex (any secret key to make your keylogger FUD) and then click on compile server.8. Now save the file to desktop or any other location of your choice. Now your server is ready but it can be easily detected.
Step 2.: Extracting the Icon file from any installer(resource hacker)1. Open the Resource hacker folder and open the reshacker file.2. Now go to its menu and open any setup file. Suppose we want to attach our keylogger toCcleaner setup file. So open the Ccleaner setup with resource hacker.3. Now in menu there is one action button click on it and then click save all resources.
4. Now save all the resources to desktop or any other location of your choice.5. It consists of two files one is icon file and other is res file . We only need icon file, so you can delete the other file i.e res file.6. Now we have Icon of installer file(as discussed above Ccleaner setup Icon).
Step 3: Bind the Keylogger server with any software1. Now Go to keylogger folder and open the Binder.2. Now Click on + button given below to add files.3. Now add the keylogger server and the set up of software (i.e. in our case it's Ccleaner setup).4. Now in menu of Binder, Go to Settings. There select the icon that we have generated in the previous step and set the location of output file as shown in figure.
5. Now again go to File's menu in Binder and click on Bind files.6. Now your Binded keylogger is ready. Now you have to spread it or send it to the victim that is your friend.
Step4 : How to Spread Keylogger or send it to victim or friend1. Now you have one Software setup file with keylogger attached with it.(In our case we have Ccleaner setup with keylogger attached with it.2. Now Spread your keylogger through forums. You might be a member of various forums use them to spread your keylogger in form of software posts. You can use various software's to spread them that users frequently download.3. Spread it through pendrives or USB hard drives. Suppose a friend asked you for a software give it the software that has keylogger attached with it.Note: you can also attach keylogger with images also. But that can be detectable by antivirus. So avoid such type of hacking. So isn't that so easy to hack anyone's Facebook account in just few minutes.
How to protect yourself from these hacks?Prevention is always better than cure so always follow these steps:1. Don't use cracked softwares and don't download them from unauthorized websites.2. Always keep your antivirus and anti-spyware up to date.3. Always scan the files before transferring them to your USB.4. Do not allow other users to use your PC i.e password protect it.
